Bringing my worlds to life with LEGO

I don’t claim to have any skill building things from LEGO; not things from my imagination, anyway. When I was a kid, I was a follow-the-instructions-kid all the way, and have always been in awe of those free-range builders who just create. But embracing my inner-AFOL, I thought it might be fun to at least play around a bit and see if I can use my books to inspire my LEGO-ing and, who knows, maybe even vice versa.
